
GMM Pfaudler Group, a global leader in technologies and services for the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors, has named Gregory Gelhaus as its new Chief Transformation Officer (CTO), effective May 5, 2025.
Strategic Role in Business Transformation
Gelhaus, a member of the promoter family, steps into the role with a mandate to lead group-wide transformation initiatives, drive strategic expansion, and improve operational efficiencies across global operations. His appointment is aimed at enhancing cross-border collaboration and integration, aligning with GMM Pfaudler’s long-term vision of becoming a more agile and future-ready enterprise.
Global Experience Across Industries
Gelhaus brings a diverse international background, having worked across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer for Asia Pacific and Central Europe at Global Blue, a publicly listed company with private equity backing. There, he led operations in 17 businesses across 15 countries, contributing as a member of the company’s Executive Committee.
Prior to Global Blue, Gelhaus held leadership and advisory positions at PwC, Alvarez & Marsal, and Kirkham Group Pte Ltd, focusing on operational turnaround, financial strategy, and market entry projects.
Academic and Professional Credentials
Gelhaus holds a BBA in Accounting from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in the State of New York.
